Hong Kong’s egg waffle (aka ‘Gai Daan Zai’ in Cantonese) has been one of the most iconic Hong Kong Street snacks since the 1950s. Bubble egg waffles are shaped to have the bubble effect by baking the batter in a specialized honeycomb machine. Original Hong Kong egg waffles are golden yellow in color. Each bubble has a crispy outer shell and only half-filled dough chewy inside to make it fluffy. In addition to the original waffle, we twisted our recipe to provide more variety and fun for our customers! We also serve Matcha green tea base waffle and double chocolate base waffle. In these waffle bases, you can pick your fillings (Savory: bacon, cheese, sesame, seaweed, Sweet: chocolate chips, Fruity Pebbles, Oreo, almond and walnut) to bake with the waffle. Every single waffle is made to order and can be loaded with ice cream (currently serving 11 flavors: Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry, Matcha Green Tea, Superman, Eskimo Kiss, Banana Pudding, Pistachio Almond, Mango Sorbet, Thai Tea and Jasmine Milk Tea, and ask our server for the special flavor of the month). Then a second layer of toppings (currently serving 25 choices: Banana, Strawberry, Blueberry, Pineapple, Mango, Pecan, Pistachio, Peanut, Almond, Walnut, Boba, Rainbow Mochi, Oreo, KitKat, Chocolate Chips, Sprinkles, Fruity Pebbles, M&M’s, Jelly Beans, Popping Candy, Pocky, Panda cookies, Animal Cookies, and Coconut Flakes) and finally drizzle with sauce of your choice (Currently serving 5 choices: Chocolate Sauce, Caramel Sauce, Condensed Milk, Whipped Cream, and Nutella). You can mix and match for endless possibility. The Egg waffle is presented to you curled up as a cone.

Last but not least, Bubble Egg also serves fresh fruit Mock-tails, fresh fruit slush, fresh fruit teas, Boba milk tea, flavor iced tea, espresso & coffee, etc. When brewing our tea at Bubble Egg, we ONLY use real premium tea leaves and natural ingredients. We also order our fruits (strawberry, mango, blueberry, pineapple) everyday to ensure we use only the freshest ingredients. We ensure our drinks have the freshest and most authentic taste in every cup.
